Dryad no. 1 study

A pencil study for a small (6"x 6") oil. Originally inspired by the

myth of Daphne and Apollo, I've since combined my thoughts about it

with other mythic concepts, such as Charles deLint's references to

"The Mondream Wood" - a forest where the trees dream of being human.
